We had a great Easter yesterday filled with family, fun, and candy.
The Easter Bunny brought Joey the DVD "Bolt." She loves animals so we thought a doggie movie would be fun, and it was also the first movie she ever saw in the theater.
This is Joey's Easter dress. I crocheted the sweater to go with it since it didn't have sleeves. It was my first project that wasn't just a blanket or something else flat.

A very tired girl quite enjoyed her yummy dinner. I ate about as much dinner as Joey did because I filled up on the yummy appetizers beforehand. Josh's mom promised me next time she would make not so yummy ones. ;)
The traditional Coffey egg hunt. This year the big kids finally gave up hunting themselves and we just had the grandkids hunt and all the big kids took pictures.
Joey had more fun just playing with the eggs rather than hunting them, but towards the end she got the hang of it. We gave her pop rocks and they didn't even phase her. Everytime she opened her mouth you could definitely hear them, though! All in all it was a great day.
