I just had to take a minute to brag about Little Miss Cuteness. She's so funny! This morning at breakfast I was looking at other blogs, she saw pictures of other kids, and she wanted to see Joey. (She's recently started referring to herself that way). So I came back to my blog and showed her our silly belly pic. That reminded her of the belly button song in her Belly Button book by Sandra Boyton, one of her favorites. So she started singing her own version, but all I could really make sense of, it sounded more woeful that Daddy was at work.
The picture is her so proud of herself helping go through some of the boys clothes. That mess of a living room (minus the coffee table) is all the stuff we came away with from my baby shower last Saturday. We got tons of clothes (YAY!) and blankets, and a good start of diapers, wipes, and giftcards.
Yesterday she was my big helper and we moved it all into her room (too much of a temptation/reason to ask questions for the cubscouts). She handed me all the clothes on hangers so I could hang them in the closet, and the rest we condensed into 4 of the bigger giftbags. We really need to pick up the dresser we're being given from a friend so we can put them totally away, but this is a good start.
Maybe this weekend we can spend some giftcards. :) Doctors orders. At my appointment last week Dr. Hansen told me to get my shopping done this month because bedrest is coming up. Sigh. It'll be hard managing a 2 year old, but if it means cooking those babies longer I'm all for it. I can't believe I'm 23 weeks. Realistically they could be here in 12 weeks, 14 for sure. Eek! At least we finally feel like we've settled on names.
Wow, sorry for the rambling!

Wow, crazy you only have 12-14 weeks left. I have 7 weeks still!! That's ok, though, because we have a lot going on and stuff that we want to get done before she comes. Good luck with all your shopping! Keep us posted.
Man, to anticipate bedrest. It's good you're listening to your doctor and trying to do those things that you need to beforehand. It'll probably feel good to have so much done when you do have to be on bedrest.
That's so awesome Mandy!!! I can't believe you are growing twins. Where are you delivering? That wouldn't be Scott Hansen would it? She really is cute!
Yep, Scott Hansen at Jordan Valley, same as with Joey. I also see Dr. Mike Draper for an ultrasound every other week.
