I Know That My Redeemer Lives

I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.

He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.

He lives, my kind, wise heav’nly Friend.
He lives and loves me to the end.
He lives, and while he lives, I’ll sing.
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.
He lives and grants me daily breath.
He lives, and I shall conquer death.
He lives my mansion to prepare.
He lives to bring me safely there.

He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
“I know that my Redeemer lives!”
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
“I know that my Redeemer lives!"

How appropriate that this was our opening song in Sacrament Meeting on Fast Sunday. What better testimony than that of our Savior. He loves us. He watches over us. He feels our joy, sorrow, worry, triumph, and anything else in between. He knows our needs, wants, and desires. I've felt it.
I know He knows me personally and blesses me with this knowledge on days that may seem especially hard or even hopeless.
I'm thankful for the faith I have, and because of these experiences I've had I can keep that faith strong and know my family will be taken care of. Tithing has and always will be a no questions asked thing for us, and we see those blessings. I know without it we'd be struggling so much more!
I'm so grateful for my little (growing) family and the joy they bring to my life. I've been blessed with truly wonderful children and I'm so grateful for that. Again, my Savior knows me and that I couldn't handle much else. :)
I'm grateful for our extended families and all the love, support, prayers, and joy we receive from being with them.
I'm so grateful for the wonderful man I've been blessed to be married to for the last 7 years, and get to keep for eternity. He's my rock and boy, do I lean on him! He teaches me, he inspires me, he picks up on the mass amounts of slack I have, and he's an amazing and loving father. I'm so thankful for the priesthood he holds and that he chooses to regularly bless me and our family with it.
I'm thankful for this gospel and that the scriptures are available for us to learn from. That we are encouraged to pray often, and pour out our hearts to The Lord. And for living prophets and apostles that know what we need to hear to help us to do better.
I'm blessed!
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
