New Discoveries

We've all had some new discoveries lately...

Josh finally discovered what it is like to be busy at work.

I discovered that I am both a klutz and masochist. A little over a week after walking head-first into a wall I closed a car door across my calf, and this is the result a few days later. At least now I can kneel without much pain and the swelling is virtually gone. Those are just the two worth mentioning, I've been beating myself up all over the place. I also discovered I need a haz-mat suit for feeding time...

That's right, Joey discovered she can blow raspberries with her tongue, and her most favorite time to practice is when Mom tries to give her solid food. We tried Sweet Potatoes for the first time yesterday and mostly just played, but tonight went over a bit better. Although you can't tell from these pictures (notice her hair) she actually swallowed MOST of what I gave her. You can't tell, but I ran the bouncer cover through the wash on Tuesday. Ah, the joys of parenthood.

She's also leaning forward trying to sit up when she's in her bouncer, so we tried moving it to the more upright position and she still did the same thing. She wants so bad to be a big girl, too.
