Here to my left (I feel like a tour guide) you see Joey getting her first lick of REAL banana. She warmed up to a bit after that, but I we didn't push our luck.

Bananas were part of our chocolate fondue party! It was so tasty! I just can't get enough of the stuff. Pound cake is my favorite. The time before this that we first tried it was the first time I tried pound cake, and seriously, it was like, Where have you been all my life?!

4th of July celebrations not pictured:
Sunday was my Grandma Hadley's 87th birthday, and a bunch of the family gathered at my parents house for cake and icecream. It was fun to show off Joey (I'm ashamed to admit even though most of them live here in the valley we haven't seen them since the babyshower) and just chill. I'm amazed how long Grandma has hung in there, her health hasn't been the greatest the last few years, and it was good to see her in good spirits, even though you can tell its waring on her.

FIREWORKS!!
What is the 4th of July without fireworks? Joey slept inside through these ones on the 2nd night, but the first night was kinda fun. The first two she just sat there like OK... but then she started getting excited and flapping her arms around. But since it was way past her bedtime she fell asleep about 2/3s of the way through, and didn't even flinch on the noisy ones after that.

I like the last one because it kinda looks like confetti!

BBQ at Granny Coffey's with the 1st round of fireworks (these are the ones Joey saw)
& our first visit to Ikea. It was fun looking at all the stuff, and they had some kitchen cabinets with wood Josh and I both LOVED, so maybe when we buy a house we'll have to stock up on stuff. :)
