Last night we celebrated Joey's 1st Birthday. We had lots of fun and laughs. For dinner we had some of Joey's favorites, including pink Jello salad and Macaroni and Cheese that turned out better than I expected!
She remembered from Christmas exactly what to do with her presents, and had improved. She got lots of fun stuff that she and her Morgan cousins had fun playing with.
You would think she would want to play with her new toys, but all she wanted was her Auntie Carin. And all Cousin Matthew wanted was Joey not to have her Auntie Carin. This is him pushing her out of the way, not hugging her.
This is the walker we bought her, and she absolutely loves it! My big girl is getting fast, and pretty soon she won't even need it for help. She hasn't figured out stopping yet, so she goes from one end of the room to the other, runs into something, then turns around to look at me like, "Mom, I'm ready to be turned around!"
At first she just thought it was kinda cool, I'm sure if I wouldn't have handed her a fork that threw her off she would have just thrown her hands right into it. Look closely and you can see her progressively get messier!

She was having too much fun to bother chewing, so as you can see, she ended up with alot in her lap. 
She's so proud of herself!
