First Day of Nursery....Say WHAT?!

This Sunday the twins got to go to Nursery for the first time. At 14 1/2 months. I wasn't ready for it! There is a reason, I've been called to serve in the Jr. Nursery. So even though Joey is still in Nursery we don't see her. With our boys and another set of twins coming in in a couple of months, that's 4 new kids, plus I think there's at least one other one soon after that. We have a very young ward! I think with the twins "on the roll" there's like 14 kids on there? Joey's class has 6, and I think they're supposed to graduate to that when they turn 2. Yeah.
It went pretty well. They were upset at the end because they got tripped over and landed on, that's the hazard of being a baby. But other than that it was pretty good. I'm sure we'll get used to it. :)

At least you didn't end up having to teach Relief Society!

Count your blessings. Our nursery has 27 kids in it...and only 5 are in active! It's a mad house. I do like the idea of a junior nursery...I wonder where we'd put them! :) Good luck. It can be a real blessing if you put your heart into the calling. I'm going to totally get preachy, but read this article. http://lds.org/ensign/1986/04/a-call-to-the-nursery?lang=eng&query=nursery It's a message that I wish I could convey to our nursery leaders...it's so hard, but so worth it! Love you!
