When You Start Making Plans, Life Happens

Thanks to all those who offered their input on the bunk beds. We had pretty much decided what we wanted but thought we'd check Ikea first before spending our money. We completely changed our mind and decided on a new option we hadn't even explored before. And we loved it.

We also found a bedroom set for us and the queen bed we hope to get. We've been married almost 6 years and don't have matching bedroom furniture. Not a huge deal, but something I've always wanted. For those of you who know Josh and my decorating preferences, you'll know what a miracle it is that we found something we both liked and so quickly!

Then some things came up and we've decided to hold off on buying a bunch of furniture and instead put our money towards fixing some things in the home to get it in better shape. The hardest part of this is Costco has an amazing sale on a queen mattress set right now, but it only goes through Sunday (read Saturday). The problem with this is we'd have to find a truck quick to transport it AND we don't want to get rid of our full just yet. We think we can use it again in the somewhat-near future, but don't have room to store it until then. Sigh.

We have some big decisions to make about our future, but I'm confident we'll be taken care of by doing what we're supposed to. We're seeing those blessings already and I couldn't be happier about that because I'm such a worry wart and always want to have a plan. Faith and patience are not my strong suits! That's why I have Josh. :)
