March? Say What?

Wow, its been over a month since I blogged. How did that happen?!

March in a nutshell:
KITCHEN REMODEL. 'NUFF SAID.

March highlights:
*Finally got word Joey's UTI that was discovered at her January well-child appointment had cleared up.
*Stress. Planning. Re-planning. More stress. Our end product is looking nothing like what I had envisioned back in February. A little more last minute than I would have preferred, but we did it. And I still love it.
*I finally caved and joined Pinterest. I've enjoyed looking at it, but I haven't gone as crazy with it as I thought I would.
*Started and quit a diet and small exercise program. Kinda hard to eat healthy and have room to do Pilates right now. Hopefully I can get back on track in a few weeks.
*Mini-vacation. Me and the kiddos went and stayed with Cory and Annie for a few days while the majority of the kitchen remodel took place. I missed out on seeing it first-hand, which as a control-freak was extremely hard for me, but it was nice not to have to cook for a week and we got to enjoy some quality time with family we don't see too often and for too long. And we got to see their addition on their house finally. WOOHOO!!
*Sick kids. We got back and Joey got sick and now it's moved on to Nick.

It's been a wild and crazy month, and I can't wait to show you all the remodel pictures after we get our countertops...hopefully towards the end of next week! (Yes we are functioning without a kitchen, and yes it makes me want to die.)

And finally, my adorable kids:

Tristan showing off his yummy Ab's fries, covered in frysauce!

Joey taking a big bite of her corndog...finally. ;)

Nick enjoying his Ab's fries and hamming it up as usual!
My little sweeties smiling for me on St. Patty's Day

Trying to keep my goofy boys happy while they were confined to the bedroom and hallway. Cabinets being installed, WOOHOO!

This is how I found Joey when I came back from the store buying her a new set of sheets when hers were in the wash after she got sick. Nothing like a sick kid to help you realize maybe one set of sheets isn't enough...

I hear you about the sheets thing with sick kids. Sigh.
