Our Hadley cousins were in town this weekend, and we played hard!! First we met up with them and Aunt Kaela at City Creek just after 10 am. We went to the Disney Store and they were doing a game about the new movie Brave that came out that day, so Joey and her cousins lined up on the floor and played it. I missed most of it because the boys were a little cranky, so we navigated the stroller through the store during that time.
Then we walked across the sky bridge and around the air conditioned part. It was great, I was so worried we were going to melt in the 100* temps forecasted for the weekend. Then we had lunch at the food court with Grandma, some of her co-workers and Daddy joined us as well. We went up to Grandma's office for a minute, then said goodbye to Cory. He had a job interview. We took the kids to play in the fountain. They had a blast and we got to sit and chat in the shade. Liv was even kind enough to dump some of her water bottle on me when I was holding her to cool me off more. ;)
We were headed to the play area to finish waiting for Cory there, but ran into him. So we left for The eye doctor where Josh and I were just having our trial lenses checked. We then went to Target to find Joey a new swimsuit, then went to grandma's. Uncle Cory gave Tristan a bloody nose because Tristan walked right into Cory's line of fire swinging a wii-mote. Before I realized he was bleeding I couldn't help but laugh, it was kinda funny.
We had dinner then sprinklers for the kids! I think Nick got a face full when it first got turned on, so I'm not sure he's a fan.
Tristan just kinda stood there and took it, though his face showed he wasn't loving it, then after a few minutes left.
Nick later cautiously tried it out, but they didn't do it as much as I thought they would.
Liv loved it though!!
