Special Day

Today was Jocelyn's Special day. Josh gave her a beautiful blessing. It was lots of fun to have all her cousins and aunts and uncles (minus Uncle Sam, but he's doing special stuff, too) and grandparents in the same apartment. We all managed to squeeze into the living room and kitchen, which was lucky, it seemed alot smaller today than normal. :) She was wide awake and very well behaved during the blessing, she didn't even need the binky! Sigh of relief for Mom! Just after the last visitors left we woke her to eat, and she was very happy, making all sorts of silly faces and still tolerating her heirloom dress. She wore the dress I did when I was blessed that my Great-Aunt made for me. She also wore a bonnet her Granny Coffey made for her, so it was very cool to have something from both sides of the family. All in all it was a great day, and we managed to come away with just a tiny stain on the carpet and one minor injury (burn).
We also made it through my first week back to work. Big thank you to all the family that has helped out with her, you've made it lots easier on me knowing she's in good hands.
