I hope you're prepared for this. We took lots of pictures, documenting the first Christmas in our home.

Getting ready to eat our Christmas feast.

Yum! I managed to make a fancy dinner that actually tasted and looked good. I didn't ruin anything!

Joey opening her Christmas Eve jammies.

She loves clothes, so she was pretty excited to get them.

See? Pretty.

"I didn't leave him cookies. I left him CHEESE!" Ok, we left one cookie, Daddy was afraid Santa might be offended.

Joey and Daddy laying out the stockings for Santa.

See my pretty new jammies? I tilted my head a bit to look through the viewfinder on the camera because I put the camera to my eye before I decided to turn it vertical, and Joey copied me.

Daddy and Joey reading The Night Before Christmas. This was in a book of Christmas stories we bought at Costco, and we also received a pop-up version from Granny and Papa Coffey, so we read it twice. :) You can never get too much Santa.

In this tough economy, even Santa had to cut back a bit, especially after bringing Mommy and Daddy a fridge earlier this month. So resourceful St. Nick got in touch with Granny and Papa Coffey, and Joey got a retro present! She got Daddy's old trike! As you can see she's way too short for it but loves it!

He also brought her a Princess helmet and bell.

That look is what makes being a parent on Christmas morning so wonderful.

She really got into the unwrapping after awhile. Look at the determination on her face!

Daddy was very pleased that Joey got him a stereo/dock for his iPod.

Joey gave me a hair straightener (I've been without one since we moved, I was sharing with Kaela), some of my favorite brand of makeup, and a picture that says "Pretty Mommy." It was a great picture.
After presents we ate the cinnamon rolls Daddy made the night before for breakfast, then spent the day just being lazy at home watching movies, playing Joey's games, and just enjoying life.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
