Too Smart for Her Own Good!

I have one sneaky, smart 2-year-old on my hands. Alot of the time when I get out of the shower and she isn't sleeping its because she pooped her pants, and alot of the time avoids a nap because of it. Monday I could hear her making noise, and she eventually started crying "Stinky," so I figured I needed to go change her diaper. She wasn't stinky, and wanted to go see Granny (I had told her at lunch we would after her nap, she was going to play at Granny's while Josh and I went to the doctor). I sat on the edge of her bed, put her in my lap and started to explain that she needed to have a night-night first. She looked over, saw I had foolishly left her door open and quickly wiggled out of my lap and made a run for it. So we ended up watching one of her 3 fav movies.

Again today as I was getting my lunch ready I could hear her saying she was stinky, but I wasn't falling for it this time. I texted Josh and told him she was up to it again and figured "Stinky" was code for "Buzz Show" since I had told her she had to wait until after her nap to watch it because it was too close to lunch when she asked. Her calling got louder and closer, she had moved to the door. I could hear her trying to open her door and I was laughing at her, next thing I know she's half-way down the hall yelling, "Mom!" She has never managed to get any door open before! She was so proud of herself and quickly climbed up on the couch, and within 20 seconds asked for "Buzz Show." What a stinker!

Isn't it fun when they get to the age where you know they need a nap but they don't agree. Jax has finally stopped taking nap for the most part. *sigh* It was good while it lasted!

Hahaha, oh my heck that's funny! Miles does similar things, it's so hilarious. It's so hard not to laugh at them when they are doing something naughty!
