Last fall I was generously given this. My last sewing attempt before I received it was a major disaster, so I've been nervous to pull it out. But it was one of my New Year's Resolutions this year to do so. With the twins coming I figure if I'm gonna have time to do it, it'll probably be now. I've been trying to come up with an easy project, and haven't been able to come up with anything besides blankets, and I think we're already gonna have plenty of those! (That and no spare cash for fabric.)
Anyways, I was talking to my mom about it last week, and I told her I thought making a dress or skirt for Joey would be fun, but not sure I could do it. So she bought some fabric, an easy pattern, and I'm gonna try it!
Joey's pretty excited...I hope it turns out!

Yep, I have no thread. I guess it'll have to wait a bit longer until we can get some.

Love that pattern! Joey will look so cute in the finished product.
Hey, that looks like the exact sewing machine we have. Today I used it for the first time- sewed a pillowcase.
Oh wait. It's not exactly the same. Ours only has one knob in the front there. Same brand, though.
