5 Years

  Today is a special day for Josh and I. Its our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe how fast the time has come! It doesn't seem THAT long ago that I was in the office area of Deseret Book at the ghetto Valley Fair Mall that he suddenly appeared at the store (I won't lie to you, he walks so quiet he startled me) and said, "Hi, I'm Josh."After a shy-ish beginning of a friendship, casual dating here and there, and a crush I had on him, I soon had the help of just about every other employee in the store trying to figure out where we stood. We became "official" the night before Thanksgiving. Co-workers were teasing us about a ring as his Christmas gift to me, and soon after we were seriously discussing marriage. Here we are 5 years, 3 kids, 2 apartments, a year in my parents home, and now a house later. Its been quite the ride and I look forward to seeing where life takes us. I know it sounds cheesy, I always thought it was when I heard others say it, but I truly love him so much more than the day we were married. He knows how to keep me smiling, laughing, rolling my eyes, and encourages me to be a better person. He dreams big and reminds me its ok to do now and then, though I really struggle with it sometimes. He's my best friend and I love that I can tell him anything. What can I say? I'm a lucky gal!
