You've all heard the phrase, "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Well, for the past year and a half, we've been driving a lemon for a vehicle, and put way more money into it than I feel it was worth. So yesterday we made lemonade. We traded it in for a 2003 Toyota Camry, and really the only con I have is the miles are a little higher than I would have preferred, but still not awful. We got an amazing deal on it too. When we were test driving it we were a bit nervous about what the price was going to be

as we started noticing all the extras I never thought I would have in a car... such as a sunroof, temp control (you set the temp you want it be in the vehicle and it adjusts the heater and A/C, its crazy!), and wood grain (although that's for different reasons, I'll get used to it). It also has one of those screens you use to keep the sun out of kids eyes, it covers the entire back window. Needless to say, we feel really good about our purchase, and I don't think we'll ever go back to a large dealer. Even being upsidedown $3000 on the Escape, we came out under blue book on this car. AWESOME!! We did a bit of number crunching last night, and with this lower payment, if we pay down a bit more debt and play our cards right I may be able to go part time later this year. Yay!

Also, there's a pic of Joey in her cute little robe she received as a gift this week. I figured I'd better put a picture of her on, since we all know that's why you're really looking at the blog, right? ;-)
