Fathers Day Fun

We had alot of fun celebrating Fathers Day this weekend. Saturday morning I took Josh mini-golfing. We hadn't done that together in so long! He was very pleased with his surprise. We got sprinkled on a few times, but nothing bad. Just icky enough weather to keep the course mostly clear so we could not feel rushed, which is good, because my mini golfing skills aren't the greatest. But that's half the fun, right? Then we went to lunch and onto Ikea. We enjoyed getting ideas of what we want to put in our home, both decoratively and useful. Now we just need a house to put them all in....And a nice chunk of change to fund it wouldn't hurt. :)

Fathers Day was pretty much just a normal, quiet Sunday at home enjoying each other's company. I personally thought it was great. After dinner Joey found a bib that had been left out one of her cousin's had used when they were here the day before. So Josh put it on her backwards as a cape and she thought it was the coolest thing! She wore it until bedtime. She had an absolute blast!Supergirl!
Supergirl and Daddy.
Supergirl and Daddy playing their favorite game. She LOVES when he tosses her in the air like this.
The other night Joey was "helping" Grandma make dinner, so Grandma gave her an empty cool whip container to keep her busy. She ended up playing soccer with it, and was rather impressive at it. :)

Joey loves her Daddy so much, and if you spend any time with the two of them its not hard to see why. He's all fun, and she couldn't ask for anything more, and neither could I. He's so good about the little things in the evenings and on weekends that make my life a little more enjoyable so I don't have to do them 12 times a day, and like I said...he makes it fun, so she enjoys every minute of it. We love you Daddy!
