Not my baby anymore

Over the past couple of weeks, and especially days its becoming obvious how Joey is no longer my baby. Yesterday she pulled books off a top shelf of a medium-height bookshelf, and a package of hot dog buns off the counter as I was making dinner. She's chunking up, too. As you know she recently became heavy enough to turn around her carseat, and my arms are starting to show she's not a feather anymore. I can't believe she starts nursery in a few weeks. I always just kinda smiled and nodded when people said how quickly kids grow up, but now I'm seeing it first-hand, and it makes me just a little bit sad. But I can't believe how in-tune she is. As soon as she sees the camera she pulls out cheesy smiles, and as soon as she hears it click she wants to see the picture on the screen. She goes and whines and stretches at the fridge when she is hungry or thirsty, and of course is always getting into things she knows she shouldn't and watches with mischevious eyes to see if you are aware of what she's doing. Clothes, wearing her shoes, sitting in someones lap with a toy or book, being outside, and playing with Daddy are some of her favorite things. She still doesn't talk much, but her favorite word is quickly becoming "no".
