What's in a name?

After discovering we are having twins (still sounds weird to me), I figured we should probably come up with 2 names for each gender just in case. We now have 2 girls names, and 1 boys name, although it'll be interesting to see what the middle name ends up being if its necessary, we have 3 we keep going back and forth between! We just can't come up with another boys name! I tried to get Joey involved by giving her the baby name book and having her pick a page and point at a name.....yeah, she's worse at this than we are! I can't wait to find out what they are so I can start collecting stuff. :)

Oh, and by the way, we've decided to keep the names a secret until birth this time around, so don't bother asking. :) That is if I can keep it a secret that long...

Baby names was what we struggle with the most. Matthew didn't have a middle name until just weeks before he was born. It changed a few times. Are you going to share the gender when you know? I'd love to start collecting stuff for you too!

P.S. Anything you need/want (crib, car seat, booster seat, boppy pillow, etc.) I'd love to share with you. I'd even be more than happy yo make new covers for everything if they are girls.

Oh yes, the gender we will share! Annie is planning a big shower for May, I think we should know the gender in April, possibly late March depending how often they are going to do the ultrasounds. But they said I'd probably already know when I go for my 20 week ultrasound. :)

I was hoping you'd be willing to share some of your big stuff. I figure between you and Annie all we may need in that department is a double stroller, much as we were trying to avoid one. :) We want to try putting carseats in the car to see if we're going to need a jeep, not that we can really afford one right now!

Just a little observation! Your babies and in the same sack, so it's safe to assume that the original cell split, therefore, you will have identical twins. What am I getting at? They will most likely be the same gender. When twins are not of the same gender that means two separate eggs were fertilized, resulting in two sacks. I could be wrong though!

I thought that you knew we had a double stroller! I got one when I had Kaiden. In the next few weeks, I'll work on tracking down all the pieces (since we'd taken the trays off after Kaiden was out of the infant seat), and cleaning it up. If I can find everything, consider it yours. If not, I'd love to pitch in and help get you a new one.

Oh, Carin, you rock!

And anonymous poster about them being identical, I agree with you, that's why we're looking at more names. Josh doesn't believe me, though. He thinks its one of each. :)

That is so crazy that you're having twins!! I'm so excited for you, I'll be excited to hear the names. It's hard enough to pick out one! Good luck deciding. :)

Funny. We picked middle names then picked first names to go along with them. The middle names have significance to family or whatever- like Joshua having the same middle name as Jeremy and Jeremy's dad.
