Joey-isms

I had Joey in the bathroom with me this morning sitting on the potty as I was getting ready after my shower. She was cracking me up!

Joey: "Just leave me alone!"
Mommy: "I am leaving you alone."
Joey: "You broke my scepter, this is all your fault!"
Can you guess who is obsessed with Tinkerbell at our house?

Joey: "I have alot of juice in my potty!"
She went potty, and it was quite an impressive amount. After a serious meltdown the other day when I made her sit on the bathroom floor in her wet clothes while I cleaned up the area she had gone to the bathroom on she has slowly been progressing. We started her a sticker chart Thursday of last week (10 days ago), and she is half-way to a new toy! (12 spots on the chart) Not that I'm saying its become glorious by any means, its still like pulling teeth trying to get her to sit on the potty every 30 minutes. Its been hard on me and the boys- they get abandoned frequently, sometimes mid-bottle, but I have to stay and watch Joey or she just dances around the bathroom naked (and singing about it) rather than sitting on the potty. But, perhaps, there is a light at the end of this very long tunnel.

*As a side note: If you try to comment you may or may not notice I added having to type in a word verification. Most of you probably wouldn't notice, most blogs I come across are this way. I had it turned off because I didn't find the extra step necessary. Until I got blog spammed on my last post. Seriously?!  It was the mega picture post and I talked about Joey's potty training. I'm so glad I listened to my gut and didn't post the picture of Joey in her cute little panties because of all the weirdos on the internet. I deleted it before I discovered how to report it as spam. If it happens again Josh and I feel it would probably be a good idea to go private.

I have never been spammed. Annoying. On the potty note - We have deemed Nathan potty trained. He did really well and will tell you he no longer wears diapers. Sound like Joey is almost there too. Good job. It is hard and constant work.

Haha! "You broke my scepter..." that is funny!

Just keep with the potty training, it seems like you will never get there, but it's so exciting when you do!!
