I feel like I should put an eye patch over poor Joey's eye. She tipped off her scooter last night and got pretty banged up. Road rash on one arm, skinned fingers on the other, and a gash next to her eye and bruised/swollen eyebrow. Oh, and its the same eye that's been giving her allergy problems. I took her to the doctor last week thinking it was pink eye. She was so brave last night, as soon as I put her bandaid on she told me she was feeling much better and wanted to ride her scooter again rather than riding in the stroller for our walk. Here are a few photos I took this morning when I changed her bandaid.

Oh my. Well, now she has another thing in common with her dad. ;) Hope she's not too sore!
She looks adorable even all bruised, and battered. Its so hard to see you kids get hurt.. Jackson got stitches a few years ago, and I cried more then he did.
Poor little girl. I'm glad it didn't dampen her spirits too much.
