Yellowstone Getaway: Day 4
Day 4 was pretty uneventful, and even picture-less. We got things packed up pretty quick, grabbed some McDonald's for the road again, topped off the gas and headed into the park to see if we'd be able to make it through the south gate and on into the Tetons. Unfortunately that was a no. So we headed back through Idaho and noticed a few things we'd missed during the crazy snow storm I drove up in, but other than that it was mostly uneventful. We had rain most of the way back, and it was pretty crazy there for awhile. We had the wipers on as fast as they could go for a little bit, and I was sure they were going to fall off. We dropped our stuff of at home, then headed to Eagle Mountain to round up the twins, then Granny's for Joey. We had a nice home-cooked meal provided by the newlyweds, and spoiled our kids like crazy with souveneirs. It was an awesome trip, and absolutely wonderful to have so much alone time with my hubby. Can't wait for a 10 year trip!
