Miscellaneous Monday

Joey got these Minnie Mouse ears from her cousins when they went to Disneyland earlier this year. They've been in the toy box for awhile, and she pulled them out the other day. She's been wearing them all over her body, including her bum.

I looked out the window and what did I see? Icicles as tall as Joey. ;)

"I cheese Tristan!"

Joey-isms:
Joey has a pink inflated ball. You know the kind...they're a couple bucks at just about every store. Anyways, she was playing with it the other day, and it kept rolling down the couch towards me, and every time it did she would yell at it, "Its MY mommy! Get away from her! Get away from her!" Pretty funny.

Josh was changing his clothes after church and she yelled, "Fancy pants!"

Sam brought us his portion of the house payment to deposit into the CU, and Joey said, "My money." I told her it was MY money, and she said, "I need $10." Where did she get that?!

I was doing the kids' laundry last week and found 2 pair of Joey's clean, folded up socks in the bottom of the hamper. She's such a good helper.

Every year Josh and I have known each other we've gone to see The Festival of Trees. I didn't want to take the boys into that kind of a crowd, and I was afraid Joey would get cranky being confined to a stroller and upset we took the boys to Grandma and Grandpa's but she didn't get to stat and play SO......WE HAD A DATE NIGHT!! I shouldn't be so excited, but they are so few and far between we really enjoyed ourselves! First we went to In-N-Out for the first time. I'm not sure I'd say it lived up to all the hype it gets, but it was quite tasty, and Josh said he liked it better than Ab's, so I'm sure we'll be back again. Then we went and saw the trees. It was alot of fun having alone time, and apparently we're rubbing off on each other, because we were pointing out alot of the same displays. Our tastes used to be SOOO different. I love that guy! Saturday evening continued to go great, but you'll have to wait for Woohoo Wednesday for that story. :)

I have to diagree with Josh....Ab's is way better than In n Out. We aren't that impressed with in and out. If you have one close by 5 guys burgers and fries is better. Your little fam is so cute! (I say little but in numbers it's bigger than ours).
