Whoopsie/Woohoo Wednesdays

Ok, so I can't decide whether I would like to do Whoopsie Wednesdays or Woohoo Wednesdays, so today I'll do both, then I would love to hear your feedback of which you'd like to see in the future. (Don't forget if you don't have a blogger account its simple to set up through google. Or you can even post anonymously, just type your comment and select anonymous. Just please don't be a hater. :) )

Whoopsie Wednesday
I'm always saying or doing stupid stuff. This will mostly be little glimpses at my crazy day to day life.

Yesterday was kind of a rough day. I didn't get anything done. I was quickly clipping a few coupons before we headed out grocery shopping and I was rambling about this or the other and finally said to myself I was being stupid or needed to just shut up. I don't remember which. But Joey was sitting right next to me and repeated it. Whoopsie.

Then again this morning I was picking out clothes for Joey to get her dressed and asked her if she wanted to wear a particular shirt. "No, Stupid." Whoopsie. Looks like I need to watch my mouth more around her.

Woohoo Wednesday
Wednesdays are typically my most trying day. Its the middle of the week so my patience is running thin, plus we have Cubscouts in the evening. So somewhere in the midst of the daily grind I have to get the house clean (those of you who have been around a 2 year old know keeping something clean is a joke, so the later the better, but not too late or something else comes up and youu're really scrambling at the end, which typically happens). Then we have to get dinner done before 7, which doesn't always happen, especially if Josh has to cook when he gets home, which is probably the case because I'm trying to clean and I swear urgency makes Joey less co-operative or at the very least makes her dawdle like there's no tomorrow. Then we have 3 kids under 3 to try to keep happy, along with keeping 3-4 9 & 10 year old boys on task. Long story short ("Too late!" Is that from Clue or Radioland Murderers? I can't remember...), by 8:15 I'm about ready to lose it, and all the stress has probably brought on a headache. So I thought if I had to focus on some good, I might be a little more tolerable for poor Josh to be around. :)

Pumpkin Fest 2010 continues! I've had lots of delicious pumpkin treats so far! Grandma Hadley's Pumpkin (I now add Chocolate Chip) Cookies, Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream with Graham Cracker Swirl (Oh my yum!!), Pumpkin Cheesecake (burned my hand pretty bad pulling them out of the oven, but it was worth it!), Pumpkin Pancakes, and last night as I was picking out breakfast at the store I happened across Glazed Pumpkin Cake Donuts. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed with these. They were over-spiced and not very pumpkin-y. Maybe they'll grow on me as the week goes on. I also have a recipe for Pumpkin Dip Josh's grandma sent me that I'll have to find an excuse to make, and I want to find a recipe for a Pumpkin Roll (now that I think about it there might have been one on the can,) or Pumpkin bread. (We got a ton of pumpkin at Costco.)

Wow, today is a rambling sort of day. So what do you think? Mandy's mess ups or celebrating the good in life?

It's not rambling, and besides we all need to ramble sometimes!

Oh I also have the best pumpkin roll recipe. I don't even like pumpkin and I LOVE this! Email me if you want it. Katelinklug@yahoo.com

I like both the Whoopsies and the Woohoos, but I have to admit, the Whoopsie made me laugh until I had tears running down my cheeks. Nothing like having your own little mockingbird! :D

Mikaela beat me to it. Yes, it's Clue.
I also like both ideas. You could do both Whoopsie/Woohoo Wednesdays. Or alternate weeks. One week the mistakes, the next the accomplishments.
